Welcome to the Greater China Network!
The Greater China Network is a diversified and interactive service-providing Internet platform set up by the Centre for Greater China Studies (CGCS). It aims to get together local as well as international communities of China Studies to promote research and exchanges on the academic area of ‘Greater China’.
With this website, we wish to foster a better understanding of the recent changes and development in China, as well as the challenges commonly faced by the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.
At present the Greater China Network is still at its initial stage. In addition to a database, which is now under construction, and regular updates on CGCS’s activities, we are also issuing two e-newsletters. One is known as Discover More About Digital China, which focuses on the impact of digital development on all levels of Chinese society. The other A Walk through the Greater Bay Area, which focuses on development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is hoped that these two publications will allow everyone to stay abreast of the latest developments in China.
In the future, we want the Greater China Network to become a popular platform through which academics share their ideas about China Studies.
We look forward to the supports and advices from everyone; so that the Greater China Network may fulfill its task and make positive contributions!
